A cutter head breaks up compacted soils. Located at the dredger’s suction mouth and submersible dredge pump, the cutter head boosts the mixture concentration as well as the overall dredge production. The DOP Dredger with a cutter head is mainly used in sand mining or capital dredging projects. This flexible dredger can be built locally using a dredge components package, or it can be transported to the dredge location using standard open top containers.
